A beautiful shower is only as good as what’s behind the tile.
DCI uses GoBoard® waterproof tile backer in our shower and applicable tub/tile assemblies. Its waterproof core creates a durable substrate designed for wet areas, helping protect the structure behind the finished tile from moisture intrusion.
Where appropriate to the assembly, DCI also uses RedGard® waterproofing membrane as part of our pre-tile waterproofing and detailing. These are the parts of the project homeowners may never see again once the tile is installed, but they are critical to protecting the investment and supporting the longevity of the finished shower or tub surround.
